The Family Outing

A wonderful change of pace for this year family portraits, Guan Ming & Tabitha bought their whole extended family for a day of fun in the sun to St John Island!  It was an intense pace for us, exciting to have a different feel and exciting that we are seeing more family members each year!

The Rosenbachs

We had the privilege of documenting Jim & Judy eight years ago for their bridals and recently we received news that the Rosenbach is back for their holidays to visit relatives! We have a great time to catch up and get to know Gabriel & Daniel! Photography to us is more than holding the camera but to bring out the best in each family, have lots of fun an a wonderful experience! Enjoy the experience!

Wright to a Tee

As I started to unzip the large luggage case that everyone assumes that I’m travelling, but its my tool box of cameras and lenses, rain started to descend. Suddenly large groups of tourists that surrounded my vision a moment ago scattered to take cover. It was a start of  several tropical rains that blessed us with cool weather and clear perspective.

I started working with Kelly and her bridesmaids at The Fullerton Hotel to document their start of the day. Kelly was all radiant and her glow led to everybody excitement! I navigate my way shortly to The White Rabbit Restaurant where a fiery of activities made the whole scene captivating. The rain dictated twice  when we start and where the wedding was held! It is moments like this that you see your friends go all out to help you and make you feel real blessed to have them by your side.

The dinner was cosy and many stories were shared. Its was beautifully planned for and our team is so honoured to be part of their wedding celebrations alongside Lighthouse Studios! Hope you enjoyed this series!

50 Shades of Orange

I was naturally thrilled at the prospect of shooting in Capella’s Colonial Manor, with a  theme like 50 shades of Orange, cosy company, and working alongside with Substances Films & Sam Ong who helped Lois with her hair and makeup! Yann & Lois wedding party gave me a great excuse to go shopping for a orange shirt that was lacking in my otherwise bloated wardrobe. Yann & Lois are naturally awesome hosts that made everyone at ease, party hard and generous with their genuine warmth and candor.  I worked myself slightly earlier on the day of the wedding to get some images of swifts hovering around the main hall and gotten some interesting views before I started our coverage. Having a cosy party only mean that I would have more time to document the intimate moments and explore the manor better and swirled around the guests effortlessly to capture their joy and energy! The wedding was beautifully done up! Awesome gowns from the soon to be retired Tan Yoong, awesome planning from Lois’ friends meant lots of colour, fun and booze in no particular order. Yang, Zech, Zenn and the team from Substances Films work hand-in hand to ensure our coverage is creative, consistent and colourful! We started with the ragging session with very a bunch of eager groomsmen that are ready for everything putted up to them! they used up two brand new lip sticks between themselves, demanded more from the “suan tang gu la”, and expertly handled their hip swing / banana balancing skills  to knock balls off plastic cups! After a short break, the solemnization was commenced with guests filling at the patio of the manor and under the hot blazing sun, and beautiful surroundings. Everyone headed into shelter to avoid a tan and soon the guests were ready for the dinner and party to start! The manor was littered with blinking rings and waistbands, even the couple shoes lit . Plenty of guests had they fill with food, dancing and merry making. It was a great wedding to say the least and i left home immensely humbled to be able to gotten this wonderful assignment!
